This past May, our founder Björn traveled to Canada for Shopify Editions and what a trip it was!
One of the highlights was definitely Björn's excitement meeting Shopify President Harley Finkelstein in person. If you caught Björn’s Twitter feed, his enthusiasm was unmistakable: "Haha... if you can’t tell, I was pretty excited to meet the legend @harleyf in person 😅." These personal interactions are a great reminder of the strong community behind Shopify.
But it wasn't all just meet-and-greets, there were also fascinating updates shared during the event. One that particularly stood out to Björn was how Shopify is simplifying store updates with a sprinkle of AI. "Wild how simple this makes updates, with AI sprinkled on top 😳. Copy, test, deploy store data updates reliably and fast. Interesting to see how we can leverage this into app workflows as well 💪," Björn tweeted. Clearly, the potential for enhancing app workflows is something we at FORSBERG+two are already brainstorming.
Of course, no Shopify event is complete without an unforgettable party. Fresh off his flight, Björn tweeted his excitement about heading to the epic party hosted by Zapiet and Judge.me: "Headed to the @zapiet @judgeme_reviews Epic Party shortly! Just landed, so starting out with a Red Bull 😂 Let’s get the party started 🥳."
Overall, Shopify Editions was packed with valuable connections, and great moments. We're excited to see how these insights and new relationships will help us continue improving our apps and serving our Shopify community even better.
