New emails: Order invoice and Return instructions added to OrderlyEmails

OrderlyEmails

OrderlyEmails is excited to announce the latest update to our app, which includes the newest email notifications released by Shopify. These notifications support the new invoicing and returns features that Shopify has introduced, and are automatically added to any existing email theme that you have purchased from us.

Order invoice email

One of the new email notifications that we have added is the Order invoice email. This email is sent to the customer by Shopify when an order has an outstanding balance, and it can be triggered from the Order details page in the Shopify admin for orders in a "Payment pending" status. This email allows you to remind your customers that they still need to pay for their order, and provides them with the information they need to do so.

Return instructions

Another new email notification that we have added is the Return instructions email. This email is sent to the customer by Shopify when a return is created in the Shopify admin, and it contains information about how to print the return label and send the items back to you. This email is an important part of managing returns and exchanges, as it provides your customers with the information they need to complete the process.

To customize and setup these new email notifications in your Shopify account, simply follow these steps:

  1. Login or install OrderlyEmails: https://www.orderlyemails.com/login
  2. Click the "Customize" button on your email theme
  3. Select the email you would like to customize from the dropdown and make your changes
  4. Once you are done, click the "Export to Shopify" button and follow the instructions.

As always, we will ensure that all email notifications in the Shopify admin are also available to customize in OrderlyEmails, even for email themes that you purchased from us previously. This means that you can always keep your email templates up to date and provide your customers with the information they need.
