OrderlyEmails is excited to announce the latest update to our Shopify app, which includes support for the new "edit order" feature recently released by Shopify. This update also includes the "order edited" and "order edit invoice" email notifications, which provide important information to customers about changes to their orders.
The "order edited" email is sent to the customer by Shopify after their order is edited in the Shopify admin. This email template provides the customer with updated information about their order, such as a change in the shipping address or the items included in their order.
The "order edit invoice" email template is sent to the customer after their order is edited in the Shopify admin and they owe additional money. This email provides the customer with information about the changes to their order that resulted in them owing additional funds, and includes a link to pay the updated invoice.
These new email notifications can be easily customized within the OrderlyEmails editor to create the perfect Shopify email templates for your store. To customize and setup these templates in your Shopify account, simply follow these steps:
- Login to OrderlyEmails by visiting https://www.orderlyemails.com/login
- Click the "Customize" button on the email theme that you would like to edit
- Select the new email notifications from the dropdown menu and make any desired changes to create your ideal Shopify email templates
- Once you are happy with your changes, click the "Export to Shopify" button and follow the instructions to export your updated email theme to your Shopify account
At OrderlyEmails, we are dedicated to providing our customers with the most up-to-date and customizable Shopify email templates available. That's why we will always ensure that all email notifications available in the Shopify admin are also available for customization within our app, even for themes that you may have purchased in the past. We hope you enjoy the latest update to our app, and the added flexibility of the Shopify "edit order" feature!
